OFF THE WALL STUDIO . . . A Learning Environment for the Young at Art
Young at Art: After School Art Enrichment Programs

The “Young at Art after school Art Enrichment Program” is designed to enrich your child’s aesthetic potential through artistic expression.  A multi -media instructional approach exploring a variety of techniques, both two and three dimensional, introduces your child to the visual language of art while increasing self esteem and academic skills.

Our artistic journey will take us on travels around the world visiting countries and cultures while we explore the techniques and media of various periods of art history, color theory, and technical studies utilizing a variety of expressive means. The classes explore the traditional art world of drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, video, printmaking, photography, art  history and appreciation, and color theory, and tour the craft culture in the production of handmade paper, fiber work, jewelry, and mixed media construction.

The children move through each years curriculum developing and refining their skills and knowledge.  The program grows with the child . . . NEW projects, NEW approaches and additional resources are all utilized to keep the program and environment of learning fresh and fun.

"Crafty Kids" exposes your child to the various craft techniques in the production of handmade paper, fiber work, jewelry, beading and mixed media construction. Making stuff they can use!

The “Young at Art: Advanced Studio Arts Program” is designed for the older student who desires to work more independently within a favored medium or technique.  The class focuses on portfolio development, series development, art theory, art history, design work, presentation, and personal critiques.
